A Card A Day.

the problem.

My father often says, "Kindness is the essence of greatness." I also think that the world can use a couple more smiles every day. :)

problem solved.

Text messages and emails have become some of our most used communication tools, however, I just like to add a little bit of spice. I decided to start this "A card a day" project. Every day I write a hand-painted card to someone I know to show my gratitude toward them.

what i've learned.

I might not be able to change someone's life with just a note of gratitude, but something about warming someone's heart brings great joy to me.

The Laus.

the problem.

My grandparents, who passed away before I was born, didn't keep a record of themselves because they didn't know how to write.

My parents also aren't really good at keeping a journal and they don't talk much about their childhood. Growing up, I never cared enough to ask them about the things that they had experienced throughout their lives, and what made them become who they are today.

I want to know and learn about my own family. I also wish my children and my children's children can learn from and feel connected with my amazing parents and ancestors.

problem solved.

I decided to make my parents a biography. From their old pictures, old journals, letters, and their testimonies to dig into their lives. I will record everything in a video, including my other family members' memories of my parents.

what i've learned.

Learning about my family has helped me to find myself. My parents are true heroes without capes. I want to follow their legacy and become someone else's hero one day.

My Colourful World.

the problem.

I am very forgetful, and I do not enjoy being that way. Even though I have been to many beautiful places in the world and created many wonderful memories, I often forgot what even made these memories so special.

problem solved.

I realized that I could remember something that happened when I was young because my parents took a picture of it. So I decided to record my life virtually to help me remember all the amazing journeys in life.

"Don't save something only for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion." Thomas S. Monson

what i've learned.

"A picture speaks a thousand words."

Capturing these moments that will never repeat or return in front of my eyes again but in my mind - is colorful.
